DealCloud Implementation & Optimization Consultant

Job Opportunity

We are pursuing an opportunity with a PE firm that leverages DealCloud as their CRM for fundraising. As part of this effort, we would like to propose to provide an assessment of their DealCloud deployment to ensure it is configured in an optimal manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an end-to-end assessment of the client's current DealCloud configuration.
• Evaluate data model structure, workflow design, reporting capabilities, and user interface alignment with fundraising and investor relations workflows.
• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, or underutilized features within the existing setup.
• Recommend best practices tailored to private equity fundraising needs.
• Create and present a detailed findings and recommendations report to client stakeholders.
• Provide optional hands-on reconfiguration or improvement of the platform (if scoped in).

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with DealCloud, preferably in a Private Equity or Investment Management context.
• Strong understanding of private equity fundraising workflows and investor relations processes.
• Prior experience conducting CRM assessments or implementations (preferably DealCloud-specific).
• Ability to communicate findings and technical recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with private equity firms or financial sponsors.
• Familiarity with data governance, reporting/dashboarding, and pipeline management in DealCloud.
