Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the delivery of occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients to help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.


Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Support patients in performing therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress and responses to therapy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and non-expired COTA license.
• Hands-On Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
