Job Description
MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The position requires a day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30, working three 12-hour shifts per week and six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policy and procedures. This position is part of a float pool, requiring flexibility to work across multiple departments and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel in patient care delivery.
• Ensure safe delivery of care in compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
• 2+ years of experience in MS/Tele nursing
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred
