Cath Lab Technologist

Under the general supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor or Chief Tech, provides patient services by operating imaging modalities during angiographic/cardiac cath procedures. Customers Served: Patients (neonate to geriatric) referred by licensed physicians or others as approved by hospital policy.

Delivers quality service and positive interaction with our customers while performing the tasks within this job description. Assumes care for physical needs of the patient during examinations and procedures. Operates imaging equipment, scrubs and assists physicians in the detection and localization of patient anatomy during diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Cath lab. Provides protection to patients, family members and self in accordance with radiation safety standard.
