Must have CAL-OSHA Blasters License Must be able to Obtain Employee Possessors Permit from BATF Must be able to obtain California Certificate of Eligibility Must be able to understand and follow MSHA, CAL-OSHA, and BATF explosive safety regulations. Demonstrated proficiency in operating large (+100 ton capacity) mine haulage and/or water trucks. Experience in supporting blasting operations. Must be capable of maintaining production records and reports as required. Demonstrated capability to inspect equipment and initiate corrective actions as required. Must be able to hear and be understood during 2-way radio communications. Must be capable of performing all other tasks, duties and assignments that may be required as part of qualifications listed above. About You To be successfully considered for this role, you will have 3 or more years working with a Licensed Blaster 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation. Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math. Must have an understanding of the electrical and mechanical functions of the equipment used. License/Certifications Must have current and valid state civil driver’s license. Skills with oxyacetylene cutting, burning, or brazing and making electrical repairs.
