Job Summary We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Accountant with excellent client communication skills to join our growing team at Accounting Fresh. You'll maintain accurate, organized financial records for clients across a range of industries. Your day-to-day will include communicating with clients regularly by phone and email, categorizing transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, entering and paying bills, assisting with QuickBooks Online (QBO) setups, cleanups, and catch-ups, and supporting monthly financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent, responsive client service (reply to emails within 24 hours) Communicate with clients regularly by phone and email Categorize and reconcile bank and credit card transactions Enter and process bills, ensuring timely payments once approved Assist with QuickBooks Online setup, clean-up, catch-up projects, and Chart of Accounts configuration Reconcile loan accounts and break out principal vs. interest payments Review owner draw and distribution accounts for accuracy Prepare draft financial statements and basic management reports Manage accounts payable and receivable Process payroll and prepare sales tax filings Qualifications Coachable with a growth mindset and openness to feedback Highly responsive - you treat communication as a professional standard, not an afterthought Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online Strong proficiency in Excel Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Tech-savvy, self-motivated, and comfortable learning new tools Positive, team-player attitude Why You'll Love Working Here Work directly with a licensed CPA who value mentorship and quality CPA exam support for candidates actively pursuing licensure Exposure to diverse industries - construction, service, hospitality, and more Supportive, collaborative team environment Opportunities to grow with a fast-scaling firm #J-18808-Ljbffr Accounting Fresh
