Position Overview


is seeking experienced Outpatient Pharmacists for a 13-week contract assignment. This role provides comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across the main campus and satellite clinics, serving a diverse patient population ranging from neonatal to geriatric care.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services
• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Deliver direct patient care and medication counseling
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor medication therapies for safety and effectiveness
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Allscripts EMR system
• Support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations as assigned
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pharmacy services
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Schedule & Shift Information

• Four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Rotating schedules including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Shift start times may vary between:
  • 8:00 AM
  • 9:00 AM
  • 10:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM
• Rotational days off may fluctuate based on departmental needs

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
• Current active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist
• Minimum of 1 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills
• Ability to work flexible and rotating schedules

• Orientation held every two weeks
