Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for various clinical indications, ensuring accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to departmental protocols.
• Accurately document examinations, findings, and relevant patient information in the medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weeknight and weekend calls, with responsibilities extending from 7 AM to 10 PM during weekends.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols within the clinical environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or eligibility for ARDMS certification.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Licensure or registration in good standing with relevant professional bodies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, 8 or 10-hour day shifts with varied start times.
• Rotated on-call duties including weeknight and weekend rotations.
• Competitive hourly pay rate from $27 to $35, commensurate with experience.
