Maintenance Welder - Manufacturing Facility

Location: Temple, GA
Starting Pay: $20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
Employment Type: Full-time

Our Douglasville office is seeking an experienced Maintenance Welder for a well-established manufacturing facility in Temple, GA. This position supports the maintenance department by completing welding, fabrication, equipment repair, and other maintenance-related assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility components.
• Diagnose damaged metal parts and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Cut, fit, weld, and modify metal components as needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, hand tools, and power tools.
• Follow all facility safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance environment.
• Experience with metal fabrication and equipment repair.
• Ability to produce strong, consistent welds.
• Ability to safely use welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays as required.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes are required.
