  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring accurate diagnoses.

  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences, fostering a sense of ownership in their treatment journey.

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote understanding and support.

  • Continuously monitor and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care, contributing to overall treatment success.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Within our community, you may also encounter clients from varied backgrounds, such as those dealing with homelessness, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse.   • Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
