In this specialized role, you will serve as a 1:1 ASL aide, working closely with a student to provide tailored assistance and ensure full access to instruction and classroom activities.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with the ability to interpret and communicate effectively in a school environment
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, teacher, or aide in an educational or youth setting
• Understanding of basic classroom protocols and a collaborative mindset
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in ASL or special education is a plus
