Onboarding Coordinator

LaJoy Group, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Onboarding Specialist/ Administrative Assistant. The position requires travel within Macomb, Oakland, Wayne and the surrounding areas. All travel required is during work hours with use of the company car! Pay Rate: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch. Benefits Use of company car (for work travel) medical insurance dental vision disability and life Generous PTO and paid training Job Responsibilities Enrollments Travel to client homes to complete onboarding appointments (approximately 2 hours per appointment) Virtual or in-person enrollments completed in the office (approximately 30 minutes to one hour per appointment) Thoroughly explain paperwork and documentation requirements during employment. Audit all paperwork, forms and documentation to ensure compliance prior to end of appointment. Other duties as assigned. Administrative Tasks Filing Accept deliveries and tracks accordingly Assist with maintaining a cleanly and organized office. Pull and audit appropriate documentation for internal and external audits. Payroll Assist with making phone calls regarding payroll related corrections Assist with making phone calls related to training Mailings related to payroll. This is a new position and will require flexibility with newly assigned tasks. Requirements High School diploma or GED. Reliable vehicle, car registration, car insurance, and valid driver license. Excellent communication and customer service skills, written and verbal. Prior experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook. This job requires a criminal background check.
