Associate-Licensed Therapist

Responsibilities Perform on‑site clinical therapy to clients of Meristem Therapy Services, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. We promote in‑person sessions for all clients that are physically able to attend. For associate licensed therapists: All telehealth services must be provided on‑site to ensure consultation is available if needed. Regular, reliable attendance, excellent communication, and timely arrival to work is required. Be properly associate licensed (LMSW, LAPC) in Georgia and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Meristem Therapy Services. Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary and with proper releases. Utilize consultation and supervision as required by license. LMSW are welcome to utilize on‑site supervision towards required hours. All others must make arrangements for hybrid supervision to meet required hours. Complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: Intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, mental status exams, and other forms or documents. Keep client files accurate and up to date. Explain and ensure payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Meristem Therapy Services. Attend Meristem meetings and trainings as directed by supervisor. Conduct and regulate therapy services in a professional manner to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Meristem Therapy Services in the communities that it serves. Be respectful of, cooperative and collaborative with colleagues. Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications and Skills Align with Meristem Therapy Services mission, vision, and values. Must be punctual in reporting to work. Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in social work or counseling from an accredited program. Active, associate license (LMSW, LAPC) in the State of Georgia and provide proof of associate licensure status and comply with supervision requirements until fully licensed. Available to hold a minimum of 23 clinical hours per week (groups count as 1 clinical hour), provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Meristem Therapy Services. Be focused on creating new opportunities for Meristem Therapy Services. Must create, market, and run at least 1 non‑manualized group within six months of hire. Be organized and detail oriented. Be a team player and open to receiving feedback. Be able to work independently on tasks assigned. Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a private practice or group practice settings. Experience leading and/or co‑leading process groups for non‑mandated individuals. Seeking opportunities to provide training, community outreach, and community collaborations that enhance the mission of Meristem Therapy Services. Interested in social media work (blogs, email marketing, brief videos, etc.) directly related to Meristem Therapy Services. Have at least one niche market for therapy services (i.e., high school teens, LGBTQ+, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr
