Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Duration: 12 months Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS Must-Have: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Description: Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Adheres to professional standards and state regulations, aligning with the health center mission. Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information. Reports findings to the physician. Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently. Demonstrates technical skill in all nursing tasks. Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. Identifies patient learning needs and provides appropriate education. Demonstrates effective delegation practices. Utilizes information from annual training effectively, in accordance with the nurse practice act.
