New Breast Imaging Fellowship Position Los Angeles General Medical Center (LA General Medical Center) is offering a one‑year Breast Imaging Fellowship for the academic years 2026‑2027 and 2027‑2028. The program focuses on comprehensive clinical training in breast imaging, including digital breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound, contrast‑enhanced mammography, breast MRI, and all breast‑related procedures such as biopsies and wire/wireless localizations. Up to four weeks may be allocated to elective research and other activities. Responsibilities Provide and interpret breast imaging studies of all modalities. Participate in breast procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound, MRI‑guided biopsies, and surgical localizations. Engage in advanced breast imaging techniques such as contrast‑enhanced spectral mammography (CESM). Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings with surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, and radiation specialists. Assist in research projects and quality‑assurance initiatives within the Los Angeles County DHS breast imaging task force. Maintain patient care standards in a high‑volume, compassionate setting. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Eligible for medical licensure in California. Strong interest in breast imaging and breast‑related procedures. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other specialists.
