Provides support for the Nursing Supervisors and Clinical Coordinators. Assumes primary responsibility for all clerical functions of Nursing Administration.Assumes primary responsibility for all record keeping in nursing administration, including processing payroll and managing timekeeping software.Acts as a resource for nursing services personnel, including assisting with check requests submissions and verification of expense reports for signature.Sorts and distributes all mail for hospital. Runs mail through postage machine and maintains all supplies and maintenance requests for postage machine.Acts as liaison between nursing administration, other departments, employees, medical staff and outside agencies, including managing calendars, facilitating meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements, managing email announcements, and assisting with software.Responsible for arranging, facilitating and taking and maintaining minutes for various department meetings, including sending notices to Physicians, compiling Agenda items for distribution, and preparing power point presentations.We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
