Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our warehouse team in Plymouth, MI. This position is responsible for accurately selecting customer orders, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment. The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, values accuracy, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

On this assignment, you will be working in refrigerated & freezer environments packaging and picking orders. Some heavy lifting is required.

Dress Code- Dress in layers and have clothing, gloves and jacket readily available to work in colder temperatures.

An updated resume showing recent work history is required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.
• Locate, pull, and prepare products for shipping according to customer specifications.
• Pack, label, and stage completed orders for shipment.
• Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality and damage before shipment.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight as needed.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely (forklift experience is a plus).
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow company safety policies and warehouse procedures at all times.
• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory or order discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or order selecting experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after training.
