Program Director

Program Director / Program Manager – Wound Care Program Responsible for management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program for a designated area of responsibility within Healogics and its partner hospitals. The role oversees day‑to‑day operations, staff management, financial oversight, quality improvement, community education/marketing, and client relationships. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Manage Center Operations (20%): Oversee day‑to‑day management of outpatient clinic(s) and wound continuum programs. Continuously assess clinic flow, identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement best practices, ensure resources and communication, prioritize staff responsibilities, collaborate with providers, and manage direct reports (interview, hire, coach, evaluate). Perform Financial Management (10%): Coordinate all aspects of the revenue cycle for Healogics and hospital partner. Stay current on reimbursement changes, review financial reports, identify trends, implement fiscal best practices, track ancillary revenues, manage costs, and present results to leadership. Manage Community Education / Marketing (40%): Coordinate with hospital and Healogics marketing to develop strategic marketing plans. Build referral sources, maintain a physician list, visit practices, document interactions in CRM, and report on referral activity and goals. Manage Quality / Performance Improvement (10%): Implement and manage a continuous performance improvement program (PIP). Meet quality indicators, integrate with hospital PIP, participate in committees, monitor satisfaction, enforce safety guidelines, and promote compliance. Manage Relationships (15%): Maintain strong relationships with hospital clients, align goals, foster collaboration across hospital levels, participate in meetings, and provide excellent customer service to all staff. Required Education, Experience and Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field and 1 year of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience. OR Associate’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of marketing/community education or clinical operations experience. OR High School Diploma and 4+ years of marketing/community education or clinical operations experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Strong customer service, follow‑up, organization, time‑management, and multitasking abilities. Leadership, teaching, relationship building, influential, team‑building and motivational skills. Ability to work with Healogics and hospital management. Budget and strategic planning skills. Availability to travel overnight. Physical Demands Stationary position for extended periods (≥4 hours). Extended computer use and frequent typing. Reading, communicating, writing. Lifting/moving items up to 20 lbs, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping. Travel distances by car, airplane, etc. Exposure to hazards (blood borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable gases), mechanical equipment, moving objects.
