Key Responsibilities of the PCU Registered Nurse

• Titrate pressors as necessary
• Provide care in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units as needed
• Manage patient ratios of 1:3-5

Requirements of the PCU Registered Nurse

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Epic required
• Must have passed day one pass/fail testing
• Must be able to float in 4-hour blocks if required
