The individual is responsible for license compliance analysis, contract review support, software data quality, and audit readiness. The position operates within the SAM/SLC function, which provides governance, operational execution, and oversight of software assets, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and accuracy of enterprise software data. Responsibilities License Compliance & Analysis - Perform software license compliance analysis and apply license rules to determine compliance position - Support license reconciliations for strategic and non-strategic vendors - Identify and remediate over-deployment and under-utilization scenarios Software Contract & License Interpretation - Analyze software contracts and licensing agreements to interpret terms, restrictions, and entitlements - Apply licensing rules to operational scenarios to ensure compliance - Support contract deliverable tracking (renewals, certifications, maintenance terms) Software Asset Data & Research - Perform daily research and analysis of software asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness - Troubleshoot data quality issues across discovery, inventory, and entitlement sources - Support software catalog accuracy and lifecycle tracking (e.g., extended support) Tools, Workflow & Operational Execution - Utilize ServiceNow and other web-based workflow tools to execute SAM/SLC processes - Support reconciliation workflows, contract cycles, and compliance tracking activities - Maintain documentation and audit trails for compliance activities Audit & Compliance Support - Assist with internal and external software audits - Prepare supporting documentation and validate compliance positions - Ensure readiness for vendor certification and audit requests Optimization & Cost Management - Identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings - Analyze software usage patterns and recommend adjustments qualifications: 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
