Position Summary As a Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to creating a positive experience for both clients and patients. Responsibilities * Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments * Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures * Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection * Conduct in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging procedures * Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians * Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation * Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and post-treatment instructions * Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients * Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment, surgical, and exam areas * Support a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications * Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure * Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and patient care * Experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance preferred * Excellent communication and client-service skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork * Proficiency with veterinary practice management software is a plus What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience * Supportive and collaborative team culture * Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education * Meaningful work helping pets and the families who love them * Modern veterinary facility with a commitment to high-quality medicine * Example of possible benefits that are to be included, if applicable: * Medical, Vision, Dental insurance * 401(k) * Health Savings Account * Paid time off * Employee discounts * Allowances * This position is also eligible for a periodic bonus.
