A reputable 300-bed children's hospital is seeking three experienced pharmacists for immediate travel assignments in the Pittsburgh, PA area. These roles offer the opportunity to provide specialized pharmaceutical care in a pediatric hospital setting for a 13+ week contract.

Location:

• Pittsburgh, PA (assignment may require flexibility to travel or relocate)
• Hospital setting: Children's hospital with approximately 300 beds

Schedule:

• Variable shifts to accommodate hospital needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with protocols
• Provide pharmacokinetic consultations and dosing recommendations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice or completion of a residency program
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar health IT systems is preferred
