Job Type: 6 + months

Work Schedule: M-F, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Job Description:

·  Perform advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on movable bridges and related systems.

·  Maintain electrical systems for pump stations, streetlights, buildings, and surveillance equipment.

·  Respond to after-hours emergencies, including bridge malfunctions and weather-related incidents through an on-call rotation.

·  Assist Electrician II and independently perform duties when multiple locations require support or Electrician II is unavailable.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices; familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable regulations.
• Certification: Virginia Journeyman Electrician Certification preferred/optional.
• Ability to work safely in confined spaces and at heights up to 200 feet, including over water.
