Class A CDL Driver

Basic Function Operation of a loaded commercial vehicle in transit to various local and/or regional locations. Location Upper Marlboro, MD Job Type Drivers – Full-Time Salary Range $24.00 - $28.00 Hourly Job Duties Comply with commercial operation rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and hours-of-service) as well as with company policies and procedures. Inspect vehicles for mechanical defects and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Safely load/unload product to/from trailers with a forklift, Moffett, or Donkey. Secure product on trailers following company/federal guidelines. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from our retail and distribution centers. Document and log work/rest periods and time spent driving and retain fuel receipts. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Submit all associated paperwork daily/weekly on time. Work with other team members and customers to solve specific challenges and leverage growth opportunities. Maintain positive attitude towards customers and associates by being friendly and courteous. Provide customer assistance as needed, which may include over the counter, over the phone, etc. Required Skills At least 21 years old with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License At least one year of recent verifiable commercial driving experience Clear MVR with a zero point or plus point balance Forklift, Moffett, or Donkey/Spider experience Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Long Term Disability Short Term Disability Life Insurance W.S.
