Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Plainfield, IN . Drivers will be hauling forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers. Compensation
- Hourly pay rate: $31 - $33
- Average hours weekly: 40-50
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- Bonuses:
- Referral bonus: $5,000

Home Time, Route, & Schedule
- Home Time: Home daily
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift: Starting around 7am
- Route: Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Plainfield, IN
- Level of Touch: No loading or unloading, must secure freight
Equipment
- Freightliner day cab trucks
- Automatic transmission
- Governed speed: 68 mph
- ELD equipped using Samsara
- Outward facing camera
- J Track securement system in trailer
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
- No felony in the past 7 years
- No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Plainfield, IN
