Software Engineer, onsite | 1059589 Revel IT

We are looking to quickly identify local (Columbus, OH) candidates for a Software Engineer with AX 2012/X++ experience to support our team in a critical backfill role. We are seeking direct-hire, full-time candidates, but would potentially be open to a contract-to-hire arrangement. Role Summary This position will be part of the Run/Support team, with a primary focus on production stability, incident resolution, and ongoing support of the AX 2012 environment. The role will also contribute to occasional enhancements and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (X++) in a production environment Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with business stakeholders Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes Contribute to minor enhancements and system improvements Partner with cross-functional teams (business, infrastructure, engineering) Mentor and upskill less experienced team members Required Qualifications Strong experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and X++ development Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL Proven experience in production support / run operations Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues Strong communication skills and ability to work with functional teams Preferred / Future Focus Experience or exposure to Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (F&SCM) Interest in supporting a longer‑term transition toward D365 Additional Notes Local candidates strongly preferred (Columbus, OH area) This is a high‑priority backfill with urgency to onboard quickly Reference: 1059589 Don’t meet every single requirement?
