Akkodis is seeking a Repair Station Manager for a Direct Hire job with a client in Menomonee Falls, WI . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the aviation/aerospace component repair (FAA/CMM/quality systems) and a solid grasp of production management. Salary Range: $115,000/hour to $145,000/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Impact and Responsibilities The list below is illustrating the main key responsibilities, not being exhaustive: Drive Performance: Oversee day-to-day operations of an FAA 145-certified facility, delivering best-in-class quality, safety, and punctuality. Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of 80+ professionals (technicians, support staff, supply chain), cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Shape Strategy: Align site performance with global client's objectives, leading local initiatives in continuous improvement, digitalization, and sustainability. Grow the Business: Collaborate with sales and customer teams, actively engaging with major clients and identifying opportunities for new business and enhanced services. Manage Resources: Take full responsibility for budgets, financial targets, and CAPEX investments, ensuring sustained profitability and effective resource allocation. Champion Compliance: Ensure total compliance with regulatory, corporate, and HSE standards, while driving continuous operational enhancement. Job Requirements A background in aviation/aerospace component repair (FAA/CMM/quality systems) and a solid grasp of production management. Proven leadership experience, ideally managing multi-disciplinary teams in a technical environment. Strong communication skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at every level—internally and externally. Results-driven mindset with demonstrated business acumen and an affinity for process improvement. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a valid A&P License is a strong plus. Physical abilities adapted to a job primarily office-based, with regular movement throughout the facility, manual dexterity for operating standard office equipment, and ability to travel, including internationally, up to 15% of the time. About the Role As the Repair Station Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our FAA 145-certified facility, driving top-tier operational performance across teams including repair technicians, customer service, supply chain, and continuous improvement. You will be accountable for meeting and exceeding targets in On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality, HSE, and financial performance (Sales, EBITDA, cash flow). Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and empower a high-performing team to achieve ambitious operational goals. Develop and execute strategies aligned with Client's global objectives to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation. Ensure the highest levels of regulatory compliance and safety (FAA 145, company and legal standards). Maintain ownership of the site's P&L, driving profitability, sales growth, and robust financial health. Build strong relationships with key customers and support commercial teams in achieving sales targets. Steer infrastructure and capability development projects to secure sustained business excellence. What We're Looking For 15+ years of relevant experience; proven track record in managing complex, regulated operations (preferably within the aerospace or industrial sector). Demonstrated expertise in leading MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations, with focus on performance management—including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Shop Processing Time (SPT), production costs, and operational KPIs. Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and driving performance improvement. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory environments (FAA 145 a strong plus). Ability to read, analyze and interpret Aeronautics International regulations and standards Ability to perform public presentation, reporting and synthesis Ability to communicate with the authorities and certification auditors, and with the Management regarding the quality system, audits findings and continuous improvement plan. Ability to coordinate Quality, Environment, Health and Safety actions plans Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
