Wellness Guide

This role is a salaried Wellness Guide position at Brio Living Services, based at Porter Hills Village Health Center & Green House Homes in Grand Rapids, MI. The expected base salary is $46,000 – $54,000 per year. The position is exempt and typically requires Monday–Friday hours, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with possible weekend and evening work for special events. What You’ll Do Plan, lead, support and participate in meaningful activities for residents and teammates. Provide supervision and consultation on Wellness principles and programs. Order, distribute and maintain supplies of recreational and diversional materials. Develop and monitor the budget for wellness programming and supplies. Educate and support all dimensions of wellness to team members. Conduct monthly Resident Council meetings. Ensure appropriate MDS, QAPI documentation and other regulatory requirements. Serve as Concern Coordinator: receive, process, and resolve resident and family concerns. What You’ll Need At least 2 years of experience in a social or recreation program. At least 2 years of experience working with people living with dementia. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in aging process and health promotion. Preferred: Certified therapeutic recreation specialist or state‑licensed activities professional (Michigan). The above is a summary of the position and does not imply it is the only duties.
