Statistical Programming Director

Are you an experienced Statistical Programmer with deep knowledge of clinical drug development? Join AstraZeneca CVRM Biometrics as a Statistical Programming Director and provide strategic programming leadership within a fast-paced, agile global team that directly impacts drug development. Accountabilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight of project programming work, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and efficient execution. Lead implementation of programming activities independently, deliver data and analysis according to industry standards, and develop continuous improvement, innovation, and automation solutions. Serve as a specialist in cross‑functional teams to influence decision making and support submission strategies. Essential Skills/Experience Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Science, or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience in the clinical development process with advanced knowledge of industry standards. Demonstrated programming leadership with ability to develop and guide teams. Strong influencing, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to contribute to functional strategies. Expertise in risk management in complex or novel situations. Current knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements relevant to the role. Desirable Skills/Experience Broad experience across multiple therapeutic areas and outside the field of Statistical Programming. Experience in regulatory submissions and interactions. Experience designing and implementing business processes. Willingness and ability to travel. Compensation and Benefits The annual base pay ranges from 168,830.4 to 253,245.6 USD.
