Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), managing patients with various cardiac and medical conditions. Competence in arterial lines and titration of specific medication drips is required.

Responsibilities:

• Care for adult patients with cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer diagnoses, vascular, sepsis, respiratory conditions, stroke, post stent, post pacer placement, and renal failure.
• Manage and titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin.
• Troubleshoot high flow oxygen equipment and interpret telemetry strips.
• Float to MedSurg or ICU as required.

Requirements:

• RN license required at submission.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Competency in arterial lines and drip titration.
