Radiation Therapist, $80

Radiation Therapist — 2 Days/Week — 16 Hours/Week — $80/hour We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized part-time Radiation Therapist to work in our DermRay clinic in Redondo Beach, CA. The successful candidate will put patient satisfaction first and work well with others. The position is part-time at $80/hour, about 2 days (16 hours) per week. Therapists have some control over their own schedule. The work is personally satisfying and fairly independent. You’ll mainly give curative treatment to patients with non-melanoma skin cancer. For the right person, the role can grow into more hours over time, with very competitive pay and benefits. A bonus based on performance and clinic growth is also possible. Responsibilities Schedule patient treatments Simulate patients Deliver radiation therapy safely and accurately Document clinical work and keep treatment records up to date Hours & Schedule Two days per week, about 8 hours per day, usually between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Therapists have some ability to choose their days. More hours may become available as the clinic grows. Qualifications ARRT (T) Board Certification (Required) California state radiation therapy license, or eligibility to get one (Preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong patient-first attitude Comfortable with technology and electronic charting Equipment Xstrahl Radiant, Xoft Axxent, and Sensus SRT-100. Training is provided onsite.
