Peggy Focheux Duval: Director of Learning & Development, France Hourly East Caribbean Dollar (XCD) pay basis Summary The On-Call Bell Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting guests with luggage handling, transportation arrangements, resort orientation, and other guest requests. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first and last impression for guests, ensuring all interactions reflect the luxury standards and personalized service of Park Hyatt St. Kitts. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure in accordance with Hyatt service standards. Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, room changes, and storage requests. Escort guests to their guest rooms and provide information regarding resort amenities, services, and facilities. Deliver guest requests, messages, packages, and amenities promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell desk, luggage storage areas, and arrival/departure areas. Assist with transportation coordination, including taxis, airport transfers, and shuttle services. Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the resort and local attractions. Monitor and safeguard guest belongings while in hotel custody. Assist guests with mobility needs and special requests while ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience. Maintain effective communication with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments. Adhere to all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hospitality, guest service, or hotel experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide professional and personalized guest service. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and other items weighing up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of local attractions and services is an asset. Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call shifts. Valid driver's license preferred, if required for transportation-related duties. Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely handle guest luggage and equipment.
