AFE Test & Integration Engineer

We are seeking an AFE Test & Integration Engineer to support the validation and integration of a cutting-edge neural recording ASIC. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong academic or research experience in analog front-end systems who wants to gain hands-on experience with silicon characterization, hardware testing, and system integration in an innovative R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize bench test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation for silicon characterization.
• Develop test plans and validation protocols in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Perform independent characterization of analog front-end performance, including noise, power consumption, crosstalk, and signal integrity measurements.
• Support end-to-end system integration testing across hardware subsystems.
• Create technical reports and validation documentation to support engineering and quality records.
• Become a key contributor in developing and scaling the organization’s ASIC characterization capabilities.

Required Profile:

Must Have

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
• Academic, research, thesis, or internship experience involving analog front-end design, instrumentation amplifiers, low-noise circuits, or ADC architectures.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and source-measure units.
• Familiarity with electrode interface concepts, impedance measurement, or related laboratory research.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data analysis and test automation.

Nice to Have

• Research experience involving biopotential acquisition systems.
• Silicon bring-up or ASIC validation project exposure.
• Experience with automated test development and characterization workflows.
