Our organization is in search of a fellowship-trained Rhinologist to become a part of the Otolaryngology Department. This position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in a high-volume clinical practice alongside a well-respected and established Rhinologist in the region.
You will handle a diverse array of advanced sinus and skull base cases. The department enjoys a strong, long-term collaboration with Neurosurgery, providing consistent opportunities for joint endoscopic skull base surgeries. Additionally, there is potential for expanding an allergy practice if desired.
As a teaching institution, we provide a vibrant academic atmosphere. The department organizes a highly esteemed annual sinus course, supported by a nationally recognized cadaver lab. You will also have access to a state-of-the-art simulation center for training and educational purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing complex sinonasal and anterior skull base conditions
- Executing advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgeries
- Working closely with Neurosurgery and other subspecialties
- Instructing residents and medical students
- Engaging in research and other scholarly activities
- Optional development of an allergy practice
Qualifications:
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Completion of an accredited Rhinology fellowship
- Eligibility for an active and unrestricted medical license in New York State
