Job Title : Software Product Acquisition Manager
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Pay Range : $85.00–$125.00/hour (DOE) + Overtime

Job Description :
USPRO Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Product Acquisition Manager to support a premier aerospace and defense program in Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for a senior software engineer who combines strong technical development experience with supplier management and program coordination expertise.

Working within the Hardware Integrated Product Team (IPT), you will oversee supplier software development supporting mission computing products, ensuring software deliveries meet technical, quality, and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical oversight and management of supplier software development activities.
• Coordinate software deliveries and communicate project status to Program Management.
• Track and manage Software Problem Anomaly Reports (SPARs) and support issue resolution.
• Maintain Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) entries and flight-series data modules.
• Update and publish Interface Requirements Specifications and message definitions using the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS).
• Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, quality, and program teams to ensure successful software integration and delivery.
• Support continuous process improvement and software development best practices.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• 9–15 years of software engineering experience (BS) or 7–13 years (MS).
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience using one or more of the following:
• C, C++, C# and/or Python
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with JIRA.
• Previous supplier or subcontractor technical management experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Experience following structured software development processes and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Aerospace or Defense industry experience.
• Embedded software or mission computing systems.
• Experience with SIMS, SW Depot, CART, and/or Automet.
• Requirements management and software integration experience.

Security Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Investigation completed within the last five years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation (CE).
• Must be eligible to obtain Special Access following assignment start.
• Position requires access to Export Controlled Information (ECI).

Work Environment

• 100% onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
• 4/10 work schedule (Monday–Thursday).
• Non-Exempt position with overtime eligibility.
• No travel or relocation expenses provided.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
