A Supportive, Tight-Knit Team: Work alongside an experienced team consisting of 2 Dental Assistants, a dedicated Front Office Receptionist, and an approachable Office Manager who actively support operatory setup, scheduling, and patient flow. What You'll Be Doing As our Lead Dental Hygienist, you play a pivotal role in delivering personalized, top-tier preventive and periodontal care: Clinical Excellence: Perform thorough prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), and digital radiographs. Patient Assessment & Care: Update health histories, record vitals, obtain necessary consents, and educate patients on their oral health needs. Seamless Collaboration: Partner closely with our doctors for timely hygiene exams and coordinate with our front desk team to ensure patients leave with their next hygiene or restorative appointment scheduled. Operatory Management: Maintain efficient setup, breakdown, and sterilization protocols, ensuring all clinical notes and ledger entries are completed accurately each day. Schedule & Hours Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday – Sunday: Closed Note: Tuesdays are dedicated hygiene-only clinical days. Qualifications License: Active Arizona Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required). Certifications: Current CPR / BLS certification (Required). Laser Certification (Preferred) Local Anesthesia & Nitrous Oxide Certification (Preferred) Skills: Strong clinical technique, excellent time management, and a warm, empathetic chairside manner. Software: Experience with dental practice management software and insurance coding is preferred (on-the-job adaptation supported).
