A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in New York, NY. The candidate will join a dynamic team specializing in personal injury defense, handling a diverse caseload from inception to conclusion. Duties Manage a large caseload of motor vehicle and premises liability cases. Conduct and defend depositions effectively. Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies. Maintain accurate billing records and meet billing targets. Requirements Admitted to the New York State Bar. Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience. Proficiency in defense litigation preferred. Experience with billing codes and ability to bill 2,000 hours annually. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New York State. Skills Strong organizational and self-management abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Participation in 401K plan. Opportunities for growth, including a partnership track.
