Mechanical Superintendent

Mechanical SuperintendentInsight Global is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent for a leading manufacturing and industrial construction client. This individual will play a critical role supporting large-scale construction efforts at Gigafactory Texas by serving as the field-facing mechanical lead and liaison between trade partners and construction management. The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has a strong background in mechanical systems including piping, pumps, commissioning, cooling towers, chiller plants, and welding applications. This person will spend the majority of their time in the field coordinating installations, solving problems in real time, driving schedule adherence, supporting commissioning activities, and ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld throughout project execution. The role offers significant overtime, per diem for travelers, and the opportunity to support one of the most complex industrial construction projects in the country.Day-to-Day: Serve as the liaison between mechanical trades and Construction Management Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and field crews to support project execution Drive daily field activities and remove project constraints Oversee installation of piping systems, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC equipment, and related mechanical infrastructure Support commissioning, turnover, and quality inspections Manage daily planning, look-aheads, documentation, and progress tracking Collaborate with engineering, project managers, quality, safety, and trade partners to ensure successful project execution Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce site requirements
