Ragged Films Part-time, Project-based South Dakota (Remote + On Location) About Ragged Films Ragged Films is an independent narrative studio out of the Seattle area. We make cinematic, character driven horror built to travel the festival circuit, and we punch well above our budget. The Role I am a writer and director bringing my next film to South Dakota, and I am looking for a local producer to build it with me. This is an ultra low budget proof of concept with real festival ambition and a path toward a feature. Small footprint, tight crew, high craft. You would help turn a script into a shoot and keep it on the rails from prep through wrap. What You Will Do Partner with me remotely through pre production on scheduling, budgeting, and logistics. Help source local crew, cast leads, and locations in the South Dakota area. Solve problems ahead of time so the shoot day protects the story. Be on the ground with us on location in South Dakota for the shoot itself. What You Bring Strong organization and follow through, and calm under pressure. Local knowledge of South Dakota crew, cast, and locations, or the drive to build it fast. A collaborative, professional, low ego way of working. A love of independent, festival minded film.
