Full-time Nut Former / Nutformer TechWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Nut Former to join our innovative aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of set-up procedures, hot forging, and cold forging techniques. This position plays a crucial role in producing high-quality aerospace-grade nuts and fasteners that meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain nut forming machines and equipmentPerform hot and cold forging operations to produce aerospace-grade nuts and fastenersEnsure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and production schedulesInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work ordersMonitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain optimal performanceConduct regular quality checks and inspections on finished productsTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptlyCollaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processesMaintain a clean and organized work areaDocument production data and maintain accurate recordsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in nut forming or related manufacturing roleProficiency in set-up procedures for nut forming machinesExtensive knowledge of hot forging and cold forging techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and quality controlGood communication and teamwork skillsPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsWillingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentDetailed Responsibilities1. Machine Set-up and OperationAs a Nut Former, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various nut forming machines. This includes:Configuring machine parameters according to product specificationsLoading raw materials and ensuring proper feed ratesAdjusting dies, punches, and other tooling componentsCalibrating temperature and pressure settings for hot forging operationsMonitoring machine performance and making real-time adjustmentsPerforming routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment
