RN

The Registered Nurse in Long Term Care provides skilled nursing care to patients with chronic and complex health conditions. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. The nurse is expected to maintain a patient ratio of 1 to 5 and comply with state mandates including Covid vaccinations and licensing requirements. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Adhere to infection control policies and state mandates including Covid vaccination requirements.
• Work holidays as required without the option to request time off.

• Current, unrestricted Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification current and valid.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Long Term Care patient care.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1 to 5 effectively.
• Compliance with state Covid vaccination mandates.

• Experience working in a long term care facility or similar healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.

• No holiday requests off; must work all holidays as scheduled.
• Strict no pets and no smoking policy in provided housing.
• Housing may be shared in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment provided by employer.

• Day shifts primarily, with exact scheduling determined by facility needs.
• Work schedule includes mandatory holiday shifts with no exceptions.
