Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in the Operating Room. The RN will support various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the operative process.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with a variety of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT.
• Circulate and scrub in surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during Surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth procedures.
• Document accurately all perioperative activities and patient data.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current active registration.
• Possess at least 1 year of OR experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS are preferred.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to varying shift schedules.
• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
