Veterinary Technician

We are a rapidly growing and very busy small animal practice. We are looking for experienced technicians who are eager to learn and grow. We offer competitive pay and tons of extra bonuses. We believe a healthy work life balance is important and strive to make this a wonderful working environment. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinary technician. EXCEL IN THE FOLLOWING Assist veterinarians Monitor vital signs and know when there is a problem Obtain blood, stool, and other samples Test blood, stool, and other samples Place IV catheters Able to multitask Take x-rays Prepare animals for surgery including intubation Perform dental procedures Emergency first aid Restrain animals during exams Administer and monitor anesthesia Administer medications and vaccines, and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian Must be willing to learn and grow within the field Able to take constructive criticism Able to run and/or learn to perform a CT Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $16 - $18 Hourly Bonus/Commission: Yes
