Fisheries Biologist

This position is located in Dodge City, Kansas and is supervised by the Fisheries/Wildlife Biologist Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Administers the private lands program of the Wildlife Division in three western Kansas counties, Lane, Gray, and Haskell. Contracts Walk-In Hunting Access, VPA, HACH, and Special Hunts on private lands within the district. Provides wildlife habitat technical and financial assistance through the Habitat First program and addresses wildlife disease and animal damage issues. Works with NRCS, FSA, Ducks Unlimited, and other partners to maximize wildlife habitat. Assists the Dodge City Area Biologist with duties as needed.
