PAID HANDS-ON TRADE TRAINING — NO PRIOR RESTORATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! You don’t need specialized certifications to start; our client is looking for dependable individuals with high integrity, a strong work ethic, and the grit to tackle hands-on emergency mitigation. You will work alongside experienced restoration leads responding to water, flood, fire, and smoke damage—extracting water, placing industrial drying gear, setting containment barriers, and clearing affected building materials. Enjoy a steady Monday through Friday daytime routine, earn $20.00/hour to start with occasional overtime, and earn commission pay incentives once hired on permanently. • Learn and execute industry-standard mitigation procedures for residential and commercial water, flood, storm, smoke, and fire damage.
• Assist lead technicians with structural drying operations: stage, position, and monitor industrial dehumidifiers, air movers, and HEPA air scrubbers.
• Perform controlled demolition and tear-out of non-salvageable building materials, including drywall, baseboards, insulation, and floor coverings.
• Extract standing water from flooded structures using specialized truck-mounted and portable extraction units.
• Safely access, inspect, and work in confined residential areas such as crawl spaces, basements, and attics to remediate moisture and sewage backup issues.
• Carefully pack, wrap, move, and protect customer contents, personal belongings, and furniture prior to remediation work.
• Set up polyethylene plastic containment walls and negative air chambers to isolate contaminated zones and control dust.
• Clean, sanitize, and decontaminate structural surfaces, framing, and equipment using specialized antimicrobial agents.
• Maintain spotless company service vans: restock drying consumables, clean tools, and maintain organized job gear daily.

• Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour starting wage.
• Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with occasional Saturday overtime as emergency jobs require.
• Experience Level: Entry-Level / Paid Training Provided (Construction, demolition, or maintenance background is a huge plus!).
• Location: Vancouver, Clark County, WA service area.
• Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire career pathway.

• Work Ethic & Attitude: Solid, dependable work ethic with a genuine desire to learn emergency mitigation, structural drying, and restoration trades.
• Trade Background: General construction, framing, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, or demolition experience is a strong plus (not required).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks for 8–10 hours, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Working Environments: Comfortable working in tight or confined spaces (such as residential crawl spaces and attics) and handling challenging mitigation conditions (including blackwater/sewage cleanups with proper safety gear).
• Dependable morning punctuality, consistent attendance, and reliable transportation.
• Professional, empathetic customer service manner when interacting with stressed homeowners.
