Branch Manager

IHMVCU is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Branch Manager to join the team! This position will be located at our Bettendorf, Iowa branch. Summary of the Position: The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing member service, sales operations, branch operations, employee engagement, and branch profitability while delivering a seamless member experience. This role creates exceptional member experiences through motivated and knowledgeable team members and leads successful sales and service initiatives that deepen member relationships and support organizational growth. This position plays a key role in community involvement, business development, talent development, achieving branch and corporate goals, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of service, professionalism, and integrity. The successful candidate should have the following skills/qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred with at least four years of credit union or related experience; management experience within a financial services environment. Strong leadership skills with a professional attitude and ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members. Strong history of proven relationship‑building performance. Proven success in Business Development and Community Involvement, cultivating and deepening current relationships while establishing a new business client base. Thorough knowledge of relationship building, products, and services; ensures appropriate application of the credit union's policies and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, and coordinate multiple projects. Interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive way, both internally and externally at all times. Ability to demonstrate IHMVCU's culture and core values. Ability to make sound decisions while balancing exceptional member service with the overall reputation and strategic goals of the organization. Familiarity with technology and the ability to quickly adapt to new equipment, systems, and digital service channels. Regional travel to assist other branch locations may occasionally be required. Must possessor attain CUNA FiCEP/CCUFC designation within the first year of position. What are some of the responsibilities of a Branch Manager? Team Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring all team members identify the financial needs of the members and recommend appropriate products and services, while also strictly adhering to operational and regulatory expectations. Responsible for developing a positive working environment and developing staff to succeed. Service and Sales: Seek out business development opportunities to enhance IHMVCU's presence in the community by developing relationships with local organizations and businesses. Successfully attain branch and corporate scorecard goals by utilizing observation coaching, effective feedback, and performance management practices. Support branch operations by exhibiting knowledge of opening deposit accounts, servicing existing accounts, processing financial transactions, interviewing loan applicants, processing documents, and resolving complex member account matters. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and best practices that enhance member experience, operational efficiency, and branch performance.
