A well-established skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead its clinical team. This is an opportunity for a strong leader who believes great care starts with a supported, well-run nursing team.

What you’ll do

Lead, mentor, and support the nursing department, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and lead survey readiness
Develop and carry out clinical policies, quality improvement initiatives, and staff education
Manage nursing staffing, scheduling, and recruitment in partnership with leadership
Work closely with the Administrator, physicians, residents, and families
Monitor clinical outcomes and drive continuous improvement

What you bring

Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience, including prior leadership (DON, ADON, or Unit Manager)
Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations and the survey process
Strong communicator with great follow-through
Calm, organized, and confident leading a team
