Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML at Veza

Salary: $171,900 - 300,800 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors, masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• We look for 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including proven leadership at the Staff or Senior Staff level.
• We need 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying GenAI solutions, multi-agent systems, LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen, or Model Context Protocols (MCP).
• We expect expert-level proficiency in Python and Golang or Java, along with deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and high-throughput API design.
• We value strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, especially within enterprise IAM environments and security architectures.
• We seek a strong sense of product ownership, with a track record of taking ambiguous AI initiatives from concept to enterprise scale.
• We require exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex AI trade-offs and architectural decisions into clear strategic narratives for technical and executive audiences.

• We will rely on you to define the technical roadmap and system architecture for our Access AI Platform, with a focus on high availability, low latency, and reliable deterministic behavior.
• You will lead the design of advanced agent orchestration layers, multi-agent communication patterns, and context and memory management approaches.
• You will help move cutting-edge LLM capabilities and MCP frameworks from experimental prototypes into secure, production-ready enterprise pipelines within our identity access infrastructure.
• You will raise the bar for engineering excellence by creating robust testing and evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic AI systems and mentoring senior and staff-level engineers.
• You will partner with Product, Security, and executive leadership to align technical investment with business strategy and bring new capabilities from early ideas to global rollout.
