CDL DRIVER

*Attention All Applicants - By early 2027 , all Delivery employees assigned to the Upper Marlboro facility will transition to our new Baltimore area location-Located in Arbutus, MD (off 95 N and 695)

About the Role:

As a CDL Driver at Buck Distributing, you will be crucial in ensuring timely and safe beer delivery to our retailers. You will be responsible for driving commercial vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in this role. You will work closely with our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate a hand truck
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving commercial vehicles in a wholesale trade industry
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Drive commercial vehicles to deliver beer to customers in a timely and safe manner
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery of products

Skills:

As a CDL Driver, you will utilize your driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. You will also use your communication and customer service skills to interact with customers and coordinate with our warehouse and logistics teams. Your ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues and maintain accurate records will be essential in this role. Additionally, your flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and routes will be key to ensuring efficient delivery of products.
