Experienced/Certified Service Technician

Certified CDJR TechnicianWe are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Certified CDJR Technicians to join our team! An Automotive Technician, often called service tech, will maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles within the service bay. Provide accurate information to the service manager and service advisors, concerning vehicles that are processed through the company for business purposes.ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and proceduresTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services neededProvide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecuting repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualifications5+ years of Service Technician experience requiredASE Certification requiredA-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairBroad knowledge of new vehicle technologiesAmbitious, hardworking presence in a team environmentExcellent customer service skillsBasic computer skillsPositive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentalityEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentAbility to collaborate effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsAble to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredValid driver's license and clean driving recordWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
